How the calculation works
The suggested price covers materials, pays for your time at the rate you set, and still leaves your profit margin after the card fee. Want to understand each step? Read how to price your nail services and what your hour as a nail tech is worth.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my hourly cost?
Add the income you want per month to all your fixed expenses (rent, electricity, internet, transport, general supplies) and divide by the total hours you work in the month (days × hours per day).
What is profit margin?
It is the part of the price left after paying every cost of the service. A 30% margin means that out of every 100 you charge, 30 is profit.
Do I need to include card fees?
If clients pay by card, yes. The fee comes out of what the client pays, so it must be part of the calculation or your final price ends up below what you planned.
